While I appreciated this tutorial quickly allowing you to “play” the game, it left me without some information that I felt made the first couple hours of my time with Mini Metros more tedious. Text is used very lightly just to let you know what tunnels are and that you can delete an entire track. It does not really tell you why you are doing anything you simply get to see the results of your actions in real time. It primarily is just a normal game of Mini Metros with some additional indicators promoting you to build lines. It does a good job of integrating the tutorial into the normal gameplay. When you first start Mini Metros, it throws you into a tutorial. I’m going to talk about Mini Metros’ tutorial, as I feel like it really shaped my initial experience with the game. Both games are real time with a loss condition of too many passengers building up and not able to get to their destination. You must build road networks so that people can efficiently get to the destination requesting them. In Mini Motorways, locations request “people” from certain neighborhoods. You must choose how to connect the different types of stations so that the automated trains most efficiently deliver a continual stream of passengers to their requested destination. In Mini Metros passengers appear at stations looking to get to a specific type of other station. There’s plenty of resources detailing exactly what the games are so I am going to focus more on their differences, but for those who have not played the games I’ll give a brief description. I will be detailing the things I feel may cause someone to prefer one over the other. This is from the perspective of someone who has about 5 hours of play time in each. The following are my thoughts on the key differences between the two experiences. Most articles explain how Mini Motorways differs from metro assuming you have experience with Metros or don’t go into much detail about the experiences themselves. Given the recent good deal on the bundle during the 10th anniversary sale, I ended up getting both at the same time, but prior to this, I had looked into which of the two I thought I would be more interested in, and I never felt like I found anything really detailing the different experience the two provided. Always disable your anti virus before extracting the game to prevent it from deleting the crack files.I had been interested in trying Mini Metro or Mini Motorways for a while now. Also, be sure to right click the exe and always select “Run as administrator” if you’re having problems saving the game. Look for a ‘HOW TO RUN GAME!!.txt’ file for more help. You need these programs for the game to run. If you get any missing dll errors, make sure to look for a _Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install directx, vcredist and all other programs in that folder. NOTICE: This game is already pre-installed for you, meaning you don’t have to install it. Don't forget to run the game as administrator.
